Born in 1944 in Tehran, Dr. Gavahi has received his Ph.D. from Uppsala University in Comparative Religious Studies. Dr. Gavahi who has extensively served government posts at both national and international levels, has been teaching foreign religions at different universities since 25 years ago and is the author/translator of more than 35 books and 50 articles. Currently, he is a member of the Council of Cultural Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Center.
